Clair Boyd Peterson passed away on February 1, 2019 at the age of 64 in Logan Utah. Clair was born on January 16, 1955 in Logan Utah to LaNard and LaRue Peterson. He was the third of seven children.

Clair lived in Logan his entire life, and attended Logan city schools which culminated with his graduation from Logan High School. In 1980 Clair met Lora Lee Nish and her daughter Stacey. Clair and Lora soon realized their love for each other and they married on August 8, 1981.

Stacey is Clair‘s only daughter and when Stacey married Michael Pyle in 1994 Clair gained a son. Eventually Clair was given 3 adoring grandchildren Connor, Olivia and Carson. Clair had various forms of employment over the years, but the last 20 years were spent employed by Autoliv in Brigham City.

Clair was very quickwitted and enjoy teasing and joking with everyone to make them laugh and smile. Because of his teasing and friendly nature, he was naturally a favorite of children, especially his nieces and nephews and his grandchildren They all adored his attention and love. Clair absolutely enjoyed music of all kinds and he spent many hours sitting and listening to music.

Whether he was listening in the house, or the car ,you could always count on it being very loud! Clair liked to tinker and repair items, especially electronics. He loved to play his guitar and spent hours strumming away.

He also enjoyed fishing, target shooting, and spending time with his brothers. Besides his family, Clair’s other greatest love was his motorcycle. He loved any time he spent on it whether was riding it, working on it, or embellishing it.

His motorcycle was a of great pride and joy for him. Clair absolutely loved having coffee and breakfast at Angie’s and spending time with his Angie’s Restaurant Family over the years. Clair is survived by: his wife Lora, his daughter Stacey, his Son-in-law Michael and his three grandchildren Connor, Olivia, and Carson.

his sister Verla(Jason) and his brothers Quain, Lantz(Tamara), Mark and Shane, his brothers and sisters in-law Pam(Dennis) Rhodes, Mike Nish, Jaydene(Kendon) Godfrey, Jeneil(Kim) Sauer, Cal(Diane) Buttars, Jesse Nish, Luana(Ken) Bundren, Marilyn(Mike) Chadwick, and Martin(Mindy) Nish, and Father-in-law Robert(Shirley) Nish Clair was preceded in death by: his parents LaNard and LaRue Peterson, his brother Richard Peterson, his mother and father-in-law Ruth and Verl Buttars, a sister and brother-in-law Lavon and Ken Napoli, as well as his beloved cat Kato. He has also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. There will be a viewing from 6 to 8 pm on Friday, February 8th at Allen-Hall Mortuary,34 E Center St. in Logan.
