MANCHESTER – Claire C. Francoeur, 76 of Manchester, passed away unexpectedly on Monday December 10, 2018, surrounded by her family. Born on April 30, 1942 in Grand’mere, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Armand and Giselle (Lahaie) Heroux. Claire came to New Hampshire in 1960 and has resided here since then.

She was employed by child and family services as a caregiver for over 15 years until her retirement. She was an excellent cook and was known for her love of reading especially if it involved sitting at the beach. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Claude.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jacques Francoeur of Manchester, her son Jacques Francoeur, Jr and his wife Nikki of Allenstown, one grandson, Connor as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. At Claire’s request there will be no services. The Petit-Roan Funeral Home in Pembroke is assisting the family with arrangements.
