Obituary for Claire Elizabeth Hood Claire Elizabeth HOOD, 91, of Eaton, OH, entered into eternity on Sunday afternoon, October 28, 2018. Born June 14, 1927, she was a daughter of the late of Clarence and Dorothy Helen (Bates) Hodapp. A longtime member of Visitation Catholic Church in Eaton, she enjoyed gardening, crochet and working crossword puzzles.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Elvin Frank Hood on November 28, 2004; daughter Rosalyn Hood Hypes on December 13, 1984; brother Kenneth Hodapp; and sister Lenore Beatty. Survived by children Chris Hood and companion Christian Thompkins of Idaho, Karin Abresico of Colorado, and Kevin Hood and wife Sherry of Eaton; grandchildren Dusty, Wendy, Kisus, Jaye, Chayse and Alyson; several great grandchildren; brother Marvin Hodapp of Dayton and sister Priscilla Gayner of Fairborn. A private service will be held as determined by the family.
