OBITUARY Claire May Hamley July 21, 1927 – October 11, 2018 Claire Hamley, 91, of Kansas City, MO passed away peacefully on October 11, 2018. She was born on July 21, 1927 in Pittsburgh, PA and was the youngest of seven children of Patrick and Elizabeth Kennedy. Claire married John S. Hamley on July 22, 1950.

During this time they welcomed two children Patricia and Art. Claire was a current and avid member of the Sweet Adelines for 63 years. This was a passion she shared with both her daughter and granddaughter.

Claire is preceded in death by her husband, both parents, brothers Willard and Charles, sisters Margaret, Mary, Florence, and Vera. Claire is survived by daughter Patricia Holland (William), son Art Hamley (Donna); grandchildren Jason, Claire, Shealyn, Lindsay, Ryan, and Jocelyn; great grandchildren Quinn, Reese, Maddox, Tres, and Elliot Grace. Memorial service and Celebration of Life will be at Garden Village on Barry Road, Friday, October 26 starting at 4 pm.
