Clara’s Obituary Clara E. Flamand, 83, of Port Orange FL passed away February 1, 2019 at Adventist Health Hospital – Daytona . The youngest of nine children born to Aime & Valerie Pelletier, Clara was born and raised in New Hampshire, graduating from St. John’s High School in Concord. Working for the State of New Hampshire, Clara worked her way through the ranks, retiring as a Computer Operations Supervisor.

Through her brother, she met Raymond E. Flamand, marrying him July 2, 1966, and enjoyed over 52 years of marriage. They moved to the Port Orange area in 1990. Clara had a passion for gardening, primarily vegetables and tomatoes, not flowers though – as she stated, “I can’t eat flowers”.

Clara was the last surviving member of her siblings, and is survived by her husband Raymond, and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, February 11th at 11:00 am at the Catholic Church of the Epiphany, 201 Lafayette St., Port Orange where Clara was a parishioner. Friends and family may also gather for a visitation Monday morning from 9am-10am at Shannon Maloney Funeral Home, 4084 Halifax Dr., Port Orange FL 32127.

Additional services and interment will take place at a later date in Concord, NH. Services are entrusted to Shannon Maloney Funeral Home of Port Orange FL and Waters Funeral Home of Concord NH.
