Obituary for Mr. Clarence B. Ferebee Sr. Elder Clarence Bell Ferebee Sr. was called home to be with the Lord on November 28, 2018 after a lengthy illness. He was a resident of Newport News at the time of his passing. “Rick” as he was affectionately known was born on October 24, 1962 in South Norfolk, Chesapeake, VA.

He received his education in Chesapeake Public Schools and retired from the city of Chesapeake. Rick was always there to offer words of encouragement and prayer with a smile, and he loved to visit the sick and shut in. He was also a jack of all trades and loved to learn new things.

He was preceded in death by his mother Evelyn Marie Ferebee-Johnson; baby sister, Melody Johnson-Lewis. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Keyante of Newport News. Four biological children: Latoya of Norfolk, Latasha of Norfolk, Clarence Jr. of Newport News, Timothy of Newport News.

Three step children: Khasiya, Amanda, and John of Newport News. An uncle: Lafayette Ferebee (Janice) of Colombia, South Carolina. Brother and sisters: Thomas Ferebee (Latonya) of Hampton, Rico Ferebee(Priscilla) of Springdale, Md, Cherry Bryant (Charles) of Hampton, Janet Hazer (Norman) of Norfolk, Nick Johnson of Chesapeake, Sonya Morris (Jayron) of Portsmouth, and Michelle Collins (David) of Charlotte, NC.
