Clarence’s Obituary Clarence (Jim) Burgan, 64 years old, passed away Friday January 25, 2019. He was born in Findley, Ohio on April 19, 1954 to Janet Louise Benson and Clarence A. Burgan. He attended and graduated from Alliance High School to later serve in the Army during the Vietnam War from 1972-1974.

After his years of service, Jim later attended University of Akron. Became a truck driver later worked as a print adjuster for 12yrs at America Paper Products in Boardman, Ohio. Upon moving to Yuma, Arizona in 2000, Jim was employed by various organizations (Cocopah and Paradise Casinos, Allstate, and Convey Health) before becoming disabled in 2013.

Jim was always known as the first person to say “Hello, how are you? ” wherever we went, and was well loved by everyone. Jim was a diehard Cleveland Browns fan.

He enjoyed playing Pinochle, going to the casino and to the movies. He was also a car enthusiast. His greatest joy in life was watching his grandson Desmond grow up.

He leaves behind his wife Tammie of 30 years, Sister Clarrice and nephew Thorn (of Ohio), Mother-in-Law Virginia Sims (of Ohio), children Garrick, Shonteeva, Christa (Tyler) and Cierra and grandchildren Desmond, Nia and Ian. He also leaves behind many other loving relatives and friends. Although he may not be with us any longer physically, his spirit will live on within us forever.

He is preceded in death by his parents and nephew Loren “Butch” Burgan. ~The family wishes to thank everyone for the many acts of kindness and expressions of sympathy during this very difficult time in our lives. We ask for your continue prayers.

We realize, without a doubt, God is in control. He will heal our broken hearts.
