Obituary for Mr. Clayton Darrell James God saw that you were weary so he did what he saw best. He came and stood beside you and whispered; “come and rest” Your golden heart stopped beating; and now you are at rest. “Let not your heat be troubled, ye believe in God, believe also in ME.

In my Father’s house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you”. John 14:1,2 Clayton Darrell James was born September 4, 1974 to proud parents, Carnelia and Frank James.

He accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age and was a graduate of Lake Providence Senior High School. Clayton was blessed with one daughter, Ty’Dreanna Ty’Dronae Williams and one stepdaughter, La’Daydreanna Williams. He was known to bring a smile to everyone he met and was always playful and full of life.

Clayton was a caregiver to one of his siblings. He departed this earthly life on June 21, 2018. Clayton was preceded in death by his parents Carnelia and Frank James; two sisters, Alice and Mary James; one brother, La’ Quinton James; one Cousin Angela Haghes and one aunt Martha Hughes.
