CLEMEN W. EDWARDS JR. , age 73, of Washington CH, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at his home. He was born on September 11, 1945 in Franklin County to Clemen Sr. and Leah Singrey Edwards.

He was a 1963 graduate of Washington High School; he then attended Mahoning Valley Vocational School in Youngstown where he earned a degree in computer science. Clemen had previously worked for Quality Farm and Fleet and retired from Kroger. He was a member at the Agape Church on Hickory Lane.

Clemen was also a former member and past president of the Washington CH Jaycees. He enjoyed golfing, reading, The Ohio State Buckeyes, and being with his family and grandchildren. Clemen is preceded in death by his parents; son, Brian Edwards; brother, Jerry Ray Edwards; and brother-in-law, John Cook.

Survivors include his wife, Robin Vance Edwards, whom he married on April 9, 2000; children, Jon Edwards, Tracy (Katie) Vance, Angel Edwards; step-children, Tim (Shannon) Breakfield, Chris (Melissa) Breakfield, Crystal (Ralieh) McCalister; six grandchildren; and sisters, Karen Cook, and Sue (Kris) Kennedy. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Dr. David Evans officiating.

Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place after services. Online condolences may be sent to www.
