Clete Fred LaForge, 46, died on July 9, 2018 in Bozeman, MT. Clete was born on December 22, 1971 in Anaconda, MT to Joseph Thomas LaForge Jr. and Sara Jane Genevieve Nepine. He went to High School in Bozeman and continued his education in Butte at Montana Tech where he earned a Welding certificate.

He married Vicki J. Matt LaForge. Clete worked as a carpenter framing homes, a lumber driver, and a security officer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and making dance regalia.

Though he will be best remembered for the best long distant shooting and his smile. Clete is preceded in death by his mother Sara, his brother, sister, grandmother, 2 grandsons, and a granddaughter. Clete is survived by his father Joseph and step-mom Rita LaForge of Sheridan, WY, Jerald (Leslie) Chandra of Arlee, MT, Seamus Herbert of Minnesota, Cloyce of Butte; Stepchildren: Donella (Jesse), Darrell Piapost Jr. of Ronan, Jami of Pablo; grandchildren: Aaliyah and Orion Whiteman, siblings: Crystal of Tennessee, Joe Ondag LaForge of Bozeman, MT, and Sunday Gardner of Bozeman, MT, and numerous extended family.

Visitation will be Thursday July 12, 2018 from 4-7PM at Dahl Funeral Chapel. Crow (Apsalookii) Blessings and prayers will be Friday July 13, 2018 led by his father. Wake will be held Saturday July 14, 2018 at Foster Funeral Home moving to the St. Ignatius Community Center.

Prayer service will be Sunday July 15, 2018 at 8PM at the Community Center. Funeral Services will be held Monday July 16, 2018 at 2PM at the St. Ignatius Community Center with Cremation to follow.
