Clinton Herman Asselmeier June 6, 1925 – February 24, 2019 Clint was born in Valmeyer, Illinois to Carl and Anna Asselmeier. Clint had three brothers, Cliff, Bob and Darrel. Clint joined the Navy and served from 1943 to 1947 with three of those years in Guam.

In 1950 he joined the Marine Corps and was stationed in Korea for 18months. Clint was married to Margaret Earls and had 5 sons. He moved his family to Oregon City in 1976 and has remained a resident serving his family, friends and community with unconditional love to all.

Clint is survived by his brother Bob, his son Damon and 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and all the many who called him PAPA and the rest of the Asselmeier family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 1:00PM at Holman-Hankins-Bowker & Waud.
