Obituary for Clyde Conrad Johnson Clyde Conrad Johnson age 86 passed away May 22, 2018 in a local health care facility. He was born to the late Dora and Edmond Johnson of Tower Michigan, June 12, 1931 and was also preceded in death by his brother Buck and his sisters Evelyn, Violet and Vada. He was retired from Calumet Manufacturing and Ford Motor Company.

He served as a Staff Sargent in the United States Army during the Korean War. He lived through the depression, he worked hard and provided for and raised his family. Clyde was very friendly and out-going, he loved to be around people but could also be as stubborn as a mule.

He enjoyed attending the Senior Center on Urbane Road in Cleveland until his declining health prevented him from doing so. He is survived by his sons David Johnson and Terry Johnson of Conroe TX. , his daughter Christina Johnson of Cleveland, two granddaughters Alyssa Mayo of Texas and Iesha Johnson of Cleveland and two great-grandchildren.

A Remembrance of Life Service will be held graveside Monday at 9:30am at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors. Rev. Jim Hibbard will be officiating the service.
