OBITUARY Clyde Devoir Hunter June 27, 1942 – October 10, 2018 Mr. Clyde Devoir Hunter, age 76, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away October 10, 2018. He was born June 27, 1942 in Hiawassee, Georgia. Mr. Hunter was a Veteran, having served his country in the U.S. Army.

He was a retired fireman with 25 years of service for the City of Atlanta. Spending time with his family was his highest priority. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and deer hunting.

Mr. Hunter was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Bertha Woods Hunter; and a son, Michael Gibson. He is survived by his beloved wife, Virginia Hunter; son, Jeff (Crystal) Hunter; daughter, Tammy (Russ) Horton; brother, Robert (Shirley) Hunter; sister, Marylee Sims; grandchildren, Tatiana Horton, Gavin Horton, Patrick Hunter, Kylie Hunter and Kelley Hill. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Lithia Springs, Georgia.
