Obituary for Clyde Doyle Needham Jan. 25, 1934 – April 11, 2018 Clyde D Needham was born January 25, 1934 in Eureka, Calif. , to his parents, Cecil and Maurine Needham.

He grew up in Sacramento, graduating from Sac High and Sac State. He married Nancy Lee Silver on April 24, 1954 and they have enjoyed 64 years together. Clyde served in the Army, serving most of his time in Korea.

He became a California Highway Patrolman in 1959, first in Compton, then Sacramento. He was promoted to Sergeant and moved his family to Placerville in 1968. Clyde and Nancy had many friends through the community, work and church and especially enjoyed traveling to many places throughout the world.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy and daughter Kaly Campbell (Larry), and grandchildren Kirstin Beal (Russell), Michelle, Jillian, Kara Kidman (Matt), Yeni, and great-grandson Baylor Beal. Clyde is also preceded in death by his son Bradley Needham (wife Patty). He loved his grandchilden and enjoyed being with them all.
