Clyde Lee Allen, age 76, Harrodsburg, husband of Brenda Kay Shrewsbury Allen, died Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Ephraim McDowell Haggin Memorial Hospital in Harrodsburg. Born August 12, 1941 in Beckley, WV, he was the son of the late Lee Jackson Allen and Wilda Bernice (Martin) Allen. He was a professional water tank painter for Eco Painting Co. of Pompano Beach, FL, a member of the United Painters Association, liked to do crossword puzzles and challenging word games plus he enjoyed traveling.

Survivors other his wife include one daughter: Crystal Allen of Oak Hill, WV; two sons Floyd (Kim) Allen of Dinwiddie, VA and Curtis (Sherry) Allen of Beckley, WV; two step-sons Timothy (Lisa) Banks of Harrodsburg, KY and Michael Banks of Springfield, KY; two step-daughters Tracy Good and Crystal Wallace both of Palm Bay, FL; two brothers Claude (Linda) Allen of Old Town, FL and Fred Allen of Washington, PA; six grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one step-great grandchild. At Clyde’s request the family has chosen that there will be no services or visitation at this time. Arrangements were in entrusted to Sims Funeral Services of Harrodsburg.
