Obituary for Clyde Sabastian McCall Jr. Print Clyde S. McCall, Jr., age 83, of Cashiers, NC passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late Rev. Clyde and Philadelphia Owen McCall, Sr

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles, Carlos and Dan McCall and sisters, Helen Stockton, Sue Metcalf and Ima Lee Jenkins. Mr. McCall served his country in the U S Air Force. He loved life.

He was an avid musician that enjoyed playing the piano, guitar and banjo. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Emma Dickerson McCall, one son, John T. McCall, one daughter, Patricia McCall Parr and husband Jeffrey, one brother, Joseph McCall, four grandchildren, Brodie Dockendorf and wife Shelly, Kelly Dockendorf and husband Aaron, Sawyer and Reggie Parr, great grandchildren, Michalla D. Ingersoll and husband Ryan, Christopher, Elizabeth and Owen Dockendorf. Memorial services will be held 2pm, Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in the chapel of Moody-Connolly Funeral Home with the Transylvania County Honor Guard conducting the service.
