Obituary for Colleen E Russell Colleen Esther Russell was born June 18, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Thelma Lee Wells-Davis and Luther Russell. At an early age, Colleen accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. Affectionately known as “Mema” to those who loved her, she is survived by her twin sister Geraldine Russell; two children Bridgett Russell-Johnson and Belisha Russell-Manago; five grandchildren Markeise Russell, Biaggotti Johnson, Abriana Johnson, Tyanna Russell, and Tyreise Russell; two great grandchildren Adanaya Bridgett McMorriss and Carter Ethan Russell; and a host of sisters, brothers, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

She will be remembered for her courage, natural humor, sarcasm, appetite, her “famous” spaghetti, and most importantly, the love she held so deeply for her family.
