Colleen Eilers, age 60, of St. Cloud passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial for Colleen will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 29, 2018 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Foley. Rev.

Michael Wolfbauer will officiate. Visitation will be from 9-11 AM at the church. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.

Service with Dignity provided by Foley Funeral Home. Colleen Mary Eilers was born May 28, 1958 in St. Cloud, Minnesota the daughter of Jerome and Dorothy (Pranghofer) Eilers. Colleen was disabled from birth and lived in several group homes throughout her life.

She touched many lives including those of her caregivers and other residents. Colleen worked at Wacosa for many years. She enjoyed trips to the casino, fishing, horses, Mustang cars, and listening to John Denver music.

She is survived by her brothers and sisters: Mark (Irene) of Oak Park, Bruce (Maria) of Elk River, Kathy (Greg) Pullis of Aitkin, and Julie (Dewey) Thomas of Medimont, Idaho; housemates: Sara, Andy, and Jane; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Colleen’s family would like to extend a special Thank You to the Sterling Heights staff; residents: Sara, Andy, and Jane who were like family to her; as well as all the people at Wacosa and Opportunity Matters.
