OBITUARY Connie Gillilan August 1, 1944 – November 3, 2018 Connie May Gillilan of Grand Junction went home to be with the Lord on November 2, 2018 at HopeWest Care Center in Grand Junction. She was 74. A funeral Service will be held at Pear Park Baptist Church on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Orchard Mesa Cemetery.

Connie was born on August 1, 1944 to Marten and Betty Pedersen in Ottawa, Iowa. Her family later moved to Colorado. She married Duane Gillilan on June 1, 1968 in Grand Junction.

Mrs. Gillilan was a devout Christian and faithful member of Pear Park Baptist Church. Along with her husband of 50 years, she raised four boys. She taught Sunday school for many years, loved to cook, and enjoyed crafts and being with her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Gillilan is survived by her husband, Duane Gillilan; sons Dennis Gillilan, Greg (Kendra) Gillilan, Matt (Sara) Gillilan, and Dan (Michelle) Gillilan; the Gillilan grandchildren – Tyler, Trent, Lane, Cole, Adam, Seth, Hannah, Hunter, Tucker, and Paisley; sister Cheryl Pedersen; and brother Ken Pedersen. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Marty Pedersen and Bob Pedersen. Memorial gifts may be made in the memory of Mrs. Gillilan to HopeWest Hospice at www.
