OBITUARY Conrad and Thelma Bechtold Married for 75 years Conrad Bechtold Conrad was born on the family farm near White River, South Dakota, to Frank and Magdaline (Schmall) Bechtold on June 15, 1922. He was the last surviving sibling of ten. He passed on September 26, 2018.

Thelma Florence (Hitchings) Bechtold Thelma was born in Omaha, Nebraska, to Orville and Ethelle (Clary) Hitchings on August 7, 1925. She was the last surviving sibling of four. The family moved to a homestead near White River, South Dakota when she was ten.

She passed on October 7, 2018. Conrad and Thelma married on August 2, 1943. They moved to Omaha, Nebraska in 1946, where Conrad worked in the construction industry and Thelma was a homemaker.

They retired in 1986. During retirement they enjoyed time with their large family, dancing, traveling, gardening, fishing, and were active members of the South Omaha Fraternal Order of Eagles. Survived by sons, Ronald (Denise) of Omaha; Donald (Arletta) of Fremont; Dennis (Lori) of Papillion; and daughter, Kathy (Frank) Richards of Anacortes, Washington; 13 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; seven great, great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

SERVICE: November 9th, 11am, at Crosby Swanson Funeral Home. INURNMENT at Westlawn Hillcrest Memorial Park.
