Connie Chiocchio, age 69, peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones on January 26, 2019. She was born on June 4, 1949 in Ft. Meyers Florida to Andrew and Alice Cunningham (both deceased).

Connie was a life-long advocate of education and taught for over 25 years. She was a parishioner at St. Bede’s in Mentor. She loved spending time with her daughters and her granddaughter.

Her supportive and welcoming disposition was loved by all. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who will be greatly missed. Connie is survived by her husband of 41 years, Ron; children, Gina Chiocchio and Kara (Daryl) Copley; granddaughter, Jamison Copley; sisters, Kathleen (Norman) Schultz, Patricia (William) Marvin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Alice Cunningham; siblings, James and Mary Beth Cunningham. A Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Connie will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 10:00am at St Bede The Venerable Church at 9114 Lakeshore Blvd, Mentor. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3 to 7pm at the Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd.
