Coralease “Tudy” Hall Huffman October 17, 1927 – April 29, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Memorial Donation Coralease “Tudy” Hall Huffman of Roanoke, age 91, passed away on April 29, 2019 at Brookdale at Salem Senior Living in Salem, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer S. Huffman and two infant daughters. She is survived by three sons: Glenn Huffman and his wife, Jennifer, of Virginia Beach, Va.

, Gregory Huffman and his wife, Daphne of Roanoke and Aubrey “Clay” Huffman and his wife, Amy of Blacksburg, Va. She is also survived by three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, one sister, and several nieces and nephews. Tudy was born to the late Lucille and Sankey Hall in Charlottesville in 1927.

She attended Longwood University, formerly Farmville Teacher’s College. Tudy and Willmer lived in Clifton Forge and Charlottesville for several years. Tudy was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Charlottesville and was active in the Beta Sigma Phi sorority where she achieved diamond status.

Tudy worked in the UVA Medical Library for several years. She loved to read and crochet. Tudy and Wilmer relocated to Friendship Senior Living in Roanoke in 2007.

Family visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Hill & Wood Funeral Home of Charlottesville. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Riverview Cemetery, Charlottesville. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.

alz.org) would be appreciated. The family would like to thank Tudy’s caretakers at Brookdale and the Good Samaritan Hospice Staff. Condolensces may be sent to the family at www.
