Cornelius “Con” K. Moore, age 58. Native of Co. Kilkenny Ireland. Proud Member of Union Local 399 and employed by the Peninsula Hotel Chicago.

Beloved husband of Terri Moore (nee Pinard) for 26 years. Cherished and deeply loved father of Casey, Maryclaire and Erin Moore. Dear son of the late Richard and Mary (nee Sullivan) Moore.

Loving brother of Richard (Brid), Pauline, Eleanor, John and Noel Moore. Dearest uncle to many and friend to all. Con played hurling with Thomastown and was interested in all farming, country life, carpentry, nature and music.

He had a life-long love of greyhounds and horse racing. He was a member and coach with Harry Boland’s Gaelic Men’s Hurling Club and an active member of St. Damian Parish Men’s Club. Con was an exceedingly generous individual and had a wide circle of friends and family in Ireland and the United States.

He was loved and respected by many. Visitation Sunday 3-9pm Funeral Monday 9:15am from the Maher Funeral Home 17101 S. 71st Ave Tinley Park (1 block east of Harlem on 171st St in the Old Tinley Library) to St. Damian Church for Mass at 10:00am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Reception to follow at Blarney stone Pub (15400 S. Cicero Ave Oak Forest IL. 60452).
