OBITUARY Corrinan O England July 1, 1929 – July 27, 2018 On July 27, Corrinan O’Banion England slipped into eternal slumber after several years of declining health. She was born on July 1, 1929 in Big Springs, TX to Billie McGill O’Banion and Charles Edward McGill, and was reared in Shreveport, LA and Houston, TX. On May 7, 1950, she married the love of her life, Herbert Carl England, Jr., with whom she enjoyed 65 years of true marital bliss before his death in May, 2015.

Left behind to cherish the memory of a good mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister are her daughter Harriett England Bray, her son Herbert Charles England; her grandchildren, Helen Corrinan Rhodenizer Sensabaugh, Henry Luther Rhodenizer, Jr., Harrison Christopher England, James William Bray, and Henderson Charles England; her great grandson Hutson Robert Sensabaugh; and her brother Charles Carroll McGill. Corrinan was a charter member of Mountain Brook Presbyterian Church where she faithfully served as an Elder and member of its Chancel Guild; and she had been a longtime member of Vestavia County Club and the Assistance League of Birmingham. After a private interment at Elmwood Cemetery, there will be a memorial service at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 31 at Mountain Brook Presbyterian Church, followed by a reception for friends of the family.
