Griswold – Corinne L. Stott, 97, of Griswold, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 24, 2018 in Norwich, CT. She was born on April 19, 1921, in Jewett City, to the late Selma (Kummer) and Abraham Zegeer. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph R. Stott Jr., her sister Olga Zegeer, and her brother Abraham Zegeer.

Corinne was a loving mother, grandmother, friend, and homemaker who cherished her family. She was a fabulous cook known for her wonderful creations that always seemed effortless. She loved spending time outdoors gardening and going to the beach.

She loved life and was known for her own unique sense of style. She especially looked forward to the hummingbirds’ arrival every spring. Corinne is survived by her son Ralph R. Stott III and his wife Karen; daughter Lisa A. Neville and husband David; Grandchildren Sarah Stott and Michael Neville.

Corinne is also survived by three stepdaughters; Elizabeth, Janet, Dorothy and their families as well as several nieces. The family wishes to extend their gratitude and appreciation to the Backus Hospital nurses and staff on the E4 telemetry unit and the Palliative care team in her final days. Donations in her name may be made to the E4 telemetry unit at Backus Hospital.
