Courtney R. Wooten, 42, of Brockton, passed away suddenly on May 26, 2019. Born in Stoughton, Courtney was the beloved daughter of Patricia A. Wooten and Donald Pina Jr.; step-daughter of Michael MacNeil, who helped raise and nurture Courtney throughout her life; devoted mother of Bobby Brantley Jr.; loving niece of Jacquelyn DeGrace and her husband Louis and Cecelia “Mikki” Shefton and her husband Frank; wife of Kevin D. Williams; granddaughter of the late Eucley and Ruth Wooten and the late Pauline and Donald Pina; longtime best friend of Leah Teixeira, Tammy Quinones, and Nicole Williams; companion of Tedro Clark. Courtney also leaves many dear cousins, and the father of her son, Bobby Brantley Sr. Courtney was a generous person and a kind soul who was eager to help people less fortunate than herself.

She loved her family and friends and was at her happiest when she was organizing and participating in social gatherings. She loved group day trips to the beach, especially when they ended with a lobster dinner. Her greatest joy, however, was her only child, Bobby.

Bobby and Courtney were inseparable. Challenged by special needs, Bobby required Courtney’s constant support and care. Her entire life was dedicated to educating, entertaining and loving her son.

She was his strongest advocate and Guardian Angel. Courtney’s light and love will be missed by her family, friends and the city of Brockton. Respectfully, services are private.
