Coy Lovett, passed peacefully on Saturday February 23, at the age of 87. He is the devoted husband of 63 years to Geneva (Anderson) Lovett. Loving father of Renee (Doug) Wong and cherished papaw of Christine and Amy Wong.

Dear uncle of several nieces and nephews. Coy retired from Queen City Metro as a professional driver. Born in the mountains of Tennessee, he loved to travel throughout the Appalachian Mountains and The Carolina’s.

He will be remembered for his generosity and willingness to lend a hand to anyone he met. Humorous and witty, Coy loved to keep company with his friends and he never met a stranger. Family and friends are invited to a visitation Tuesday Feb.
