Crystal Gayle Carter September 29, 1978 – March 13, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Crystal Gayle Carter, age 40, of Alma passed at her residence on Wednesday March 13, 2019 after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jack and Verlene Miles Carter and maternal grandfather, Hoyt West. Crystal had a Masters Degree in Administration and Master Degree in English.

She taught school in Bacon County, Ware County, Brantley County, and Long County for several years. She was a member of the Alma Baptist Church Survivors include her daughter, Eden Grace Epps of Alma parents, James Henry Carter and Bertha West Carter of Alma, , a sister, Cherry Lynn Carter of Alma and her maternal grandmother, Cecelia West of Crawford, GA. Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 16,2019 at 12:00 noon at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev.

Wayne Woods and Rev. Rick Brown officiating. The family will be receiving friends at Rose Hill Cemetery from 11:00 AM until funeral time.
