Obituary for Curtis Leon Barbrey Curtis Leon Barbrey, age 81, of 3194 Sawmill Road passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at his home. Born in Simpsonville, he was a son of the late Hosea Lee and Martha Mosteller Barbrey. Curtis worked in textiles and retired from Wal-Mart.

He was a member of Highland Home Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn K. Barbrey of the home; two sons, Robert Wilmon Barbrey and wife Lisa of Savannah, GA and Joseph Mitchell Barbrey and fiancé Christa Bryant of Joanna, SC; one sister, Fannie Martin of Simpsonville, SC; grandchildren, Courtney Barbrey, raised in the home, Joshua Barbrey, Ashlynn Barbrey, Jessica Gutierrez, Stephanie Hunter, Alex King, Christopher Vaughn, Jonathon Vaughn, and Terry Leigh Vaughn. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Sharon Smith; granddaughter, Olivia Barbrey; grandson, Travis Smith; six brothers; and one sister.

Graveside services conducted by Rev. Ben Rumph and Rev. J.D. Putman, Jr. will be 4:00 PM Friday, June 22, 2018, in the family cemetery located at 3088 Sawmill Road.
