OBITUARY Curtis Saufley Allin Jr. August 19, 1928 – January 15, 2019 Allin Jr., Curtis Saufley 90, of Louisville, TN passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019. He was born in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Curtis attended Jefferson City Missouri Junior College and the University of New Hampshire.

He trained with Casagrande Consultants at Harvard University and then was the Lab Supervisor in the Civil Engineering Department at UT Knoxville for 40 years. Curtis was a proud US Army veteran who served in the Korean war. He was a member of Alcoa United Methodist Church.

Curtis was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Rita Allin; parents, Curtis and Estelle Allin. He is survived by children, Curtis (Suzanne) Allin III, Cindy (Mark Brown) Allin; grandchildren, Taylor Allin, Curtis Allin IV. The family would like to thank the staff at Brookdale Browns Creek and Brookdale Sandy Springs for their exceptional care.

Family will have a private service at Sherwood Chapel with entombment at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the Honor Air 7536 Taggart Ln. Knoxville, TN 37938.
