Curtis Wayne Bridges April 21, 1984 – December 17, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Curtis Wayne “Cozmo” Bridges, age 34 of Helena, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on December 17, 2018. He battled West Nile virus, encephalitis and some small strokes at Baptist Health Center in Little Rock for 49 long days. He was born on April 24, 1984 in Helena to Jimmy and Deborah Bridges and had one brother, Bradley Bridges and one sister, Heather Hardesty.

He married Jennifer Pierce on June 26, 2016 in Helena. Curtis was a fun-loving, generous and caring man. He never met a stranger, he could bring a smile to anyone’s face, he had a heart of gold and the love that he gave was contagious.

He loved the Lord and his family with all of his heart. Curtis was so loved and will be missed by so many. He was preceded in death by both of his fathers, Jimmy Bridges and Michael Hardesty.

Curtis leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Jennifer Bridges of Helena; his four children, Curtis Bridges, Jr., Michael Bridges, Sarah Bridges and Gary Bridges of West Helena; his mother, Deborah (Jerry) Shrum of Kansas, OK; his grandparents, Donald and Shirley Rose of Siloam Springs, AR; his brother, Bradley (Abby) Bridges of Prairie Grove, AR; his sister, Heather Hardesty (Preston Nowlin) of Holly Grove, AR; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends. Curtis never met a stranger. The family of Curtis Bridges would like to thank everyone for all of the prayers and kind words and deeds given in our behalf during this very difficult time.

A memorial service to celebrate and remember his life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 22, 2018 at First Baptist Church, Helena, AR. Guest registry is at www. carriganmemorial.com.
