Curtis Wroten passed away on May 12, 2019 after an extended illness. Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Hinds Wroten; his children, Rick Wroten (Laney), Marc Wroten (Jennifer), and Karen Hinson (Joel); his grandchildren, Beau Wroten; Charles and Emery Wroten; and Cassidy Hinson; and the mother of his children, Lanita Wroten.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Price and Roberta Wroten; his brother, Milton Wroten; and granddaughter, Brooklyn Paige Wroten. Curtis attended Muscle Shoals High School. He was an electrician with the IBEW, Local #852 out of Corinth, MS and was employed by Norfolk Southern Railroad in the 1980s.

He was a member of the Sheffield chapter of the Elks Lodge. He enjoyed grilling and singing karaoke. Curtis loved his family, Elvis, and Alabama football.

The family would like to thank UAB Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Autism Society of Alabama.
