Obituary for C.W. “Pete” Eakin C.W. “Pete” Eakin, 90, of Burleson passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018. Graveside Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Burleson Memorial Cemetery. Visitation: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday evening at Lucas and Blessing Funeral Home.

Pete was born March 16, 1928 in Burleson to Bill and Stella Eakin. He served his country faithfully in the Navy during World War II. Pete is preceded in death by his wife of 71 years Berneice.

Survivors: son, David Eakin and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Staci Kirk, Matt Eakin and wife, Wendy; sister, Sue Pugh; great-grandchildren, Kamrin, Jagger and Kutter Kirk and Tristan and Sydney Eakin.
