Main St. Alice, Texas 78332 Phone (361) 664-1660 Fax (361) 664-1223 “Alice Oldest Family Owned and Operated Funeral Home” Obituary: Cynthia Lucile Kibbe of Alpharetta, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday October 17th. Cindy was born in Evansville Illinois on February 14, 1946. She was preceded in death by her father, Russell R Kibbe, mother Lucile Laughlin Kibbe, brothers Robert Kibbe and Harlow Kibbe, all from Premont, Texas.

She is survived by her son James Brent Walker and daughter-in-law Fran Walker of Alpharetta, Georgia; her son Russell Todd Walker and daughter-in-law Melody Walker of Kingsbury, Texas; and daughter Robin Lyn Stroike and son-in-law Greg Stroike of San Antonio, Texas. Cindy had eight grandchildren, Tanner Simpson, Adam Walker, Baylee Hoffman, Jack Walker, Ryley Hoffman, Hannah Walker, Ben Walker and Charlie Walker. Cindy loved to travel and had adventures that took her all over the world.

She was incredibly creative and had a flair for taking ordinary things and making them beautiful. She adored her children and her grandchildren and was so proud of their accomplishments in life. Above all, there was no doubt that Cindy loved the Lord and sought to know Him more each day.

A memorial service will be held at the Methodist church in Premont, Texas on Saturday November 24th at 11:00 a.m. followed by a celebration of life at the family cemetery.
