D. Wayne Rickard, 76, Pocatello, passed away, February 12, 2019 at a local medical center. He was born in Rigby, Idaho, July 12, 1942 to Charles Edward and Mildred Hogue Rickard. He married Karen Krohn, March 8, 1964.

He attended Idaho State University. Wayne was employed by the City of Pocatello, Parks and Recreation Department since 1970. He retired in 2001.

He had a passion for the outdoor. He loved hunting, fishing, and gardening. He He is survived by his wife, Karen; daughters, Dayna (Howard) Teutsch of Eagle, Idaho, and Amber (Chris) Rickard-Farrington of Columbus, Ohio; sister, Sandra Durfee of Tucson, Arizona; granchildren, Trevor and Riley Teutsch; and nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents and two infant daughters. Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 16, at 3pm in the Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave. , Pocatello, where family will receive friends one hour prior.
