Obituary for Dagmar Angelika Fraser Dagmar A. Fraser went to join her parents and youngest son, “Tony,” in the Lord’s house. She was a wife, mother, foster mother, grandmother, and steward of the disabled. Dagmar is survived by her husband, Richard, of 43 years along with 5 children: Silke Piper and spouse Dee Piper of Temple, Stephan Fraser of Dallas, and Joseph, Robert, and Diana Fraser of El Paso.

She is also survived by three grandchildren: Faith, Abby, and Avery. Dagmar’s contributions to the betterment of society included the worlds of scouting, nursing, counseling, and advocating for the physically and intellectually disabled. She was an outspoken voice for the needs of the military spouse long before it became the politically correct avenue.

She believed in the abilities of all people and not in their limitations or shortcomings. She passionately lived and led by example the principle that every living creature deserved dignity, love, and compassion. Not wanting to be the center of attention, she desired a private ceremony with the family.

She also asked that there be no floral arrangements. Dagmar requested that people who want to express their condolences do so by giving their time to the organization of their choice that benefits those in society with the greatest of needs. Get out into the world and do something good.
