Daisy McAlpin Peacock age 87 of Rocky Creek passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 in Panama City, Florida. She was born in Gadsden County, FL on April 13, 1931 to the late Gordon and Mary Lou McAlpin. Mrs. Daisy was a life long resident of Jackson County and a graduate of Marianna High School Class of 1948.

She was a volunteer of Habitat for Humanity for 25 years, Eldercare Services, Senior Citizens Board and the VA. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Peacock, son Gordon “Jackie” Peacock and sister Louise Pumphrey. Daisy is survived by one son Billy Peacock of Marianna, two daughters Jane Walker and husband James of Marianna, Debbie McMullian of Tallahassee, one sister Annett Lippencott of Panama City, five grandchildren Joseph David McMullian and wife Cathy, Cora Renee McMullian both of Tallahassee, James Brian Walker of Marianna, Brandon Drew Peacock of Marianna, and Brittany Elizabeth Peacock of Marianna, two great grandchildren Tyler Marie McMullian and Kyle David.

Services for Daisy will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 26, 2018 in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Wallace Godwin and Dr. John Venell officiating. Interment will follow in Sims Cemetery.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. In lieu flowers donations may be made to Rocky Creek Baptist Church, Kitchen Fund, 5458 Rocky Creek Road, Marianna, Florida 32448.
