Mr. Dallas Allen Peterson, of Lander, Wyoming, born on June 29, 1941 in Salem, Utah, to the late Marjorie (Hartvigsen) Peterson and the late Clarence Peterson, passed away at age 77 on November 16, 2018. He was a welder at U.S. Steel until retiring in 1984 and a Head Custodian at Starrett Junior High School until retiring in 2008. Dallas was the beloved husband of Dena Rae Peterson for 57 years.

Mark and Jean Peterson, Lake Shore, Utah; grandchildren, Amanda Peterson, North Bend, Washington, Justin Peterson, North Bend, Washington, Carrollynn Peterson, Soldotna, Alaska, Natasha Peterson, Spring Creek, Nevada, and Catherine Peterson, Fairbanks, Alaska; and great-grandchildren, Kenneth Peterson and Mia Jensen, Spring Creek, Nevada. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, rock hunting camping, and spending time with family and friends.

Friends and family can pay their respects at the visitation on Thursday, November 29 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home, 680 Mount Hope Dr., Lander, (307)332-2221. A visitation will take place on Friday, November 30 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 653 Cascade St., Lander. The funeral service will follow from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
