Obituary for Mr. Dan Aubrey Lewis Mr. Dan Aubrey Lewis, age 79, of Shelbyville, passed away December 12, 2018. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 15, 2018, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Willow Mount Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors 11 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home. He was born July 28, 1939, in Normandy, to the late Aubrey Ransom and Maude Reynolds Lewis. He was a dedicated superintendent at Rogers Group (Stoneman) and retired after 48 years of service.

Dan loved gardening and suppling the community with tomatoes. He was a talented handyman, woodworker, and raised laying hens as pets. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amelia Grace Henegar; a sister, Olie Mae Jones, and a brother, Merwin Lewis. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Marilyn Prince Lewis, of Shelbyville; a son, Brian (Tabitha) Lewis, of Wartrace, and two daughters, Lynette (Thienchai) Pinvises and Trisha (Rick) Henegar, both of Shelbyville; two brothers, Leonard (Joyce) Lewis, of Lynchburg and Austin Lewis, of Shelbyville; four sisters, Elvera Smith, Frances Foster, and Elaine (Paul) Stacy, all of Shelbyville, and June Jones, of Tullahoma; seven grandchildren, LeAnne (Kevin) Osborne, Alexander (Beth) Pinvises, Andrew (Sarah) Pinvises, Tyler Lewis, Ariel (Steven) Shirley, Adele (Jeff) Bromley, and Alaina Pinvises; favorite mother in law, Mary Lynn Prince, of Shelbyville. Memorials may be made to New Hope Cemetery, C/O Larry Hasty, 961 Old Virginia Road, Shelbyville, TN 37160, or charity of your choice.
