Daniel Belton Hudson 77 of Ashland passed away Monday, October 15, 2018 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland. Dan was born July 28, 1941 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Julia Lanell Fagan Hudson Burkett and the late Boyce King. Dan proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years Mary Chance… Read More » Hudson; his mother Julia Fagan Burkett of Biloxi, Mississippi; two sons David Scott Hudson (Crystal) and Michael Todd Hudson (Julie) both of Ashland; two sisters Bettye Hudson of Biloxi, Mississippi and Iva Nell Hosch (Donald) of Carriere, Mississippi; four grandchildren Daniel Eric Hudson, Ethan Scott Hudson, Sarah Nicole Hudson, and Ashley Brooke Hudson; one great granddaughter Savannah Hudson; along with a host of extended family and friends. Funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood with Randy Tate officiating.
Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast with military honors by the U.S. Navy and Kenova American Legion Post #93. Visitation will be Thursday at the funeral home from 11-12.
