Daniel’s Obituary Daniel Charles Tressler, also known as Dan or Danny, 68, of Severn, Maryland passed away on January 22, 2019. He was born in Bellefonte, PA on November 18, 1950. Dan graduated from high school in 1968.

Dan moved to Richmond, Virginia in 1978 where he worked in the apartment management/appliance repair industry. Dan stayed in Richmond where he raised his 2 children until 1999 and then relocated to Severn, Maryland. Dan was preceded in death by his mother Martha (1995), father Leonard (1987), his sister Karen (2010) and wife, Angelika, (2014).

He is survived by his 2 children, Alicia Tressler Chappell and husband Sidney, of Virginia, and Sheldon Russell Tressler and wife Dana, of Texas. Dan has 3 grandchildren, Noah (19), Berkley (13), and Madison (3). In addition to his children, he is survived by 2 sisters, Beth and Barbara and 2 brothers, Nathan and Leonard.

Dan will be remembered as a laid back guy who liked to make a joke. A public visitation and service is scheduled at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rt 3 South), Bowie, MD on February 6, 2019 at 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to The American Cancer Society, 211 East Lombard Street, Suite 20, Baltimore, MD, 21202-6102 in Dan’s name.
