Daniel’s Obituary On Monday April 22nd, 2019 Daniel Edward Dempsey, loving husband and father of seven children passed away at the age of 55. Dan was born on October 23, 1963 in Chicago, Illinois to Alfred E. Dempsey and Patricia Doyle. Dan worked at Sears Logistics, at the Chicago Tribune as a newspaper deliveryman, and was the owner of Dempsey Electric Corporation.

He also went to Haiti with his church and was able to give electricity to a school which was a huge joy in his life to help children in need. On October 15th 1988, he married Lynn Marie Previti. They raised 11 foster kids and adopted six.

They raised three sons, Bobby, Nicholas, and Daniel Jr. and four daughters Judy, Mina, Danielle and Tiffany. Dan had a passion for his children and family. He was known for his quick wit, infectious smile and his kind and compassionate spirit.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father Alfred, and mother Patricia. He is survived by his wife, Lynn; seven children, Judy, Bobby, Nicholas, Mina, Daniel, Danielle, and Tiffany; his sister, Amber and brother-in-law, Freddy; and several cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 11th, 2019 at the First Presbyterian Church of DuPage, 189 N. Weber Rd, Bolingbrook IL.

The service will begin at 10 am with lunch to follow at the church. Interment will be private.
