Obituary for Daniel Goodsier` Sr. Highland Lakes; Daniel H. Goodsier Sr, 75, passed away Monday June 11th 2018 at his home with his loving family at his side. Daniel was born in Paterson New Jersey on August 20, 1942 to Daniel H. and Margaret (nee Hartman) Goodsier. He lived in Paterson before moving to Vernon Township then to Highland Lakes.

Dan was an Arms Coordinator for IT &T in Nutley for 15 years. Daniel was a volunteer and a former chairman for the Vernon Township Ambulance Squad and a parishioner at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church in Highland Lakes. Daniel was predeceased by the love of his life his wife Betty Lynn (nee George) Goodsier, and his two brothers, Edward and William.

Daniel is survived by his children, Daniel H. Goodsier Jr. and his wife Maribel of Bloomfield, NJ, Margaret Stantaert and her husband Charles of Vernon Twp. , and Jerome Goodsier and his wife Angela of Vernon Twp. , and his 6 grandchildren, Matthew, Daniel, Jackie, Alyssa, Patrick and Charles, and his many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive their friends at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Rt. 94, (GPS use 1 Vanderhoof Court), Vernon, NJ on Thursday June 14th from 3-8PM. Funeral from the funeral home on Friday, June 15th at 9:30AM with a Mass of Christian Burial service at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church Highland Lakes, NJ at 10:30AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Our Lady of Fatima R. C. Church P.O. Box 242, Highland Lakes, NJ 07422 or Vernon Twp. Ambulance Squad P.O. Box 236, Vernon, NJ 07462 would be appreciated.
