OBITUARY Daniel L. Best November 21, 1959 – November 7, 2018 Daniel L. Best, 58 of Markle passed away at 9:19 am on Wednesday, November 7, 2018. His greatest legacy was raising a God-loving and faithful family. He was a quiet loving person that would always be there to help anyone in need.

He was a 1978 graduate of Huntington North High School. He worked at Kresge’s in Fort Wayne from high school until they closed, later working at the Fort Wayne Allen County Airport Authority for 23 years. He was an active member of Emmanuel Community Church.

He enjoyed cars, motorcycles, boating, the outdoors, running, volleyball, NASCAR and making maple syrup. Dan was born on November 21, 1959 in Huntington, the son of Bevan and Virginia (Beaver) Best. He was united in marriage to Kris Kinsey on December 7, 1991 in Markle.

His wife survives. Additional survivors include: three daughters: Chelsie (Casey) Weade of Fort Wayne; Kaitlyn Best of Indianapolis; Jessie Best of Nashville, TN; two brothers: Steve (Lisa) Best of Huntington; Terry (Tracy) Best of Markle; his parents: Bevan and Virginia Best of Markle and two grandchildren: Calvin and Carver Weade along with numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 12, 2018 from 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Emmanuel Community Church, 12222 US Hwy 24 West, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 10:00 am with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the Emmanuel Community Church with Pastor Bob Bruce officiating. Interment will be at the Markle Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations out to Star 88.
