Daniel Lee Patrick of Hope Mills passed away September 2, 2018 in Carolina Rehab at the age of 70. Mr. Patrick was born November 3, 1947 to the late Virgil & Thelma Hicks Patrick. An avid outdoorsman and a wonderful storyteller, Daniel was a proud Korean and Vietnam Veteran where he served in the US Army as a Crew Chief Helicopter and Air Traffic Control with Charlie Company 159th Aviation Battalion.

He was a wonderful husband and loved his children very much. A true animal lover, Daniel always had time to cuddle on the sofa with Oreo, the family dog. He was an all-around handyman and helped anyone he could.

Daniel was a faithful member of Freedom Christian Fellowship, and was loved by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his children, Toby and Tracy. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; and his brother, Michael Patrick.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm at Lafayette Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow the visitation. A graveside service will be held in the Patrick Family Cemetery in Olive Hill, KY on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at noon.
