Mintmier, Daniel M., 67, Johnstown, died June 21, 2018. Born September 6, 1950, in Johnstown, son of the late Ralph A. Mintmier and Flornel F. (Alwine) Forsyth. Preceded in death by son, Shawn Mintmier and brother and sisters, Rene Layton, Carol Mintmier and Darrell Mintmier.

Survived by beloved friend, Diana Sobecky, Johnstown; step-daughter, Ana Timko and husband, Steve, Bethel Park; children, Daniel M. Jr., Wendy and Christopher. Brother of Doris Brehm and husband, Roger, and Barbara Garrett and husband, Dink. Dan was a US Navy veteran.

He was a member of the Greater Johnstown Retired Men’s Club. He was interested in technology and loved working on computers and repairing them. He also enjoyed and loved the outdoors.

Dan enjoyed laughing, telling jokes and joking around. Funeral arrangements will be private. A celebration of Dan’s life will be held at a later date.
