Obituary for Daniel Newman Daniel Newman was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on October 16, 1911. He passed away on January 21, 2014. Daniel enjoyed camping, fishing, reading, playing cards and traveling.

He attended Community Lutheran Church, in Escondido for many years. Daniel is survived by his wife, Victoria L. B. Newman, son Theodore “Ted” Newman in Phoenix, grandchildren William “Bill” Newman in Michigan and Pamela “Pam” Newman in England; great-grandchildren Alyssa, Justin, Elizabeth and Austin. Services will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Community Lutheran Church in Escondido, with an internment at 12:15pm and a service at 1:00pm.
