Obituary for Daniel Raymond Mc Kinney Daniel Raymond McKinney, 49, of Sophia, WV passed away Monday, September 17, 2018. He was born March 13, 1969 in Beckley to Daniel L. and Carolyn Diane Lewis McKinney. He was a graduate of Oak hill High School.

Daniel was an avid hunter, coal miner and heavy equipment operator whose real passion was his large extended family. In addition to his father, Daniel was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and special uncle Vernon Perry. His Legacy will be celebrated in the remembering of his great love for his wife, Sherry M. McKinney and his children Daniel McKinney, Jessica Jabonete, Toshia Meadows, Candice Blainey, Stefanie McKinney, Tyler McKinney, Matthew McKinney, Jacob McKinney, Michael McKinney, DJ McKinney and Aiden McKinney.

He will also be remembered by his mother Diane McKinney, several loving sisters and brothers and 20 grandchildren. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, September 22nd at High Lawn Funeral Home in Oak Hill from 12-2:00 pm. A Memorial Service is being planned for a later date.
