OBITUARY Daniel Segalowitz July 3, 1940 – September 5, 2018 Daniel Segalowitz, age 74, of Jackson, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday September 5, 2018. Daniel was born July 3, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York. Daniel is survived by; daughter Susan (Eric) Bernbach-Roseland, NJ; and son David (Nicole) Segalowitz-West Palm Beach, FL; brother Stanley (Georgia) Segalowitz- Atlanta, GA and brother Jeffrey (Cheryl) Segalowitz-Brooklyn, NY; Four Granddaughters.

Daniel was preceded in death by his wife: The late Eleanor (December, 2011). Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Staten Island, NY before moving to Jackson, NJ in 2002. He was a graduate of SUNY, New Paltz, NY , 1962.

He was a Social Studies Teacher in IS#7 Staten Island NY for over 34 years, retiring in 1996. A funeral service for Daniel will be held Friday, September 7, 2018 from 11:00 AM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, NJ 07726. Following the funeral service will be a burial at 12:30 PM at Beth Israel Cemetey, 1000 WOODBRIDGE CENTER DR, WOODBRIDGE, New Jersey 07095-1314.

The Period of Mourning will be observed at his late residence as follows: Friday following the burial until 7:30pm, Minyan at 7 pm, Saturday, 7-9pm, Minyan at 7pm. , and Sunday 11am to 2pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Daniel’s memory may be made to Any Animal Rescue Organization.
