Daniel ‘Dan’ Turner, age 66 of rural Boone, died May 24, 2019 at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Daniel Robert Turner, was born in Boone, Iowa on May 24, 1953, the son of Robert and Mary (Hayes) Turner. Dan graduated from Roland-Story High School in Story City, Iowa in 1971.

On December 7, 1973, Dan married Carmen Johnson at the Central Christian Church in Boone.
